Day 2 of mom on vacation

Dear Diary,
It’s a Monday. I hate Mondays. Well, not really. I don’t really know the difference between a Monday or a Tuesday or a Wednesday or a Thursday. Mom goes to work all those days anyway, so they are the same to me. But today is worse ’cause she’s not even home! Where is the “Good morning, Oakie, I love you!” ? I need it!!!

Day 1 of mom on vacation.

Dear Diary,
Yesterday after mom left, I had a pretty good time! The family came over for dinner and they all played with me! I was tired afterwards! So many aunties and uncles! When can we do this again?!

Mama left this morning for vacation. I saw her bags at the door. She ate lunch and then rushed to leave. I was so very sad. Now I have to sit here for a few hours until my uncle wakes up and plays with me. I guess I’ll start my 18hr nap right now!

Happy Friday! Mom is going on vacation to Europe tomorrow. I am very sad. That means I won’t be waking up to her saying “Good morning, Oakie! I love you!” I hear that every morning! It makes me get up and streeeeeetch my legs. Then I follow her into the bathroom where she feeds me a Snausage early morning snack. Imma gonna miss that for a week!

It’s Saturday and mom is still gone. I hate summer. She goes on vacation way too much. It would be okay if I went with her, but most places she goes does not allow dogs. Why not? Dogs are awesome! And I’m so cute! Who wouldn’t want me as a guest?! They are all meanies if you ask me.

Well, surprise, surprise. Guess who went out of town again and left me home with Uncle? Yep, mama did. GRR!! Why does she do this to me!!? It’s so unfair she gets to go out and have fun without me. Poopoo on her. I’m just kidding. I didn’t mean that. I love mommy. I hope she brings me back something fun from her trip.

Mommy’s home!! HOORAY!!! I wasn’t expecting her today! Well, she told me when she’d be back, but I have a bad memory. I was so happy to see her, I greeted her at the door and gave her a hug. Then she picked me up and gave me a hug back and a kiss. Then she took me out to sniff the grass, and then she fed me dinner! Ma knows the way to my heart is through my stomach! Nom nom nom I was so hungry, thanks for the food, mama! But NO THANKS for leaving me for a few days! Next time take me on vacation with you!!

Mama is still on vacation. The days are boring without her. I miss greeting her at the door when she comes home from work. She always picks me up and gives me a big hug and a kiss, and then we go outside so I can poo and pee and then she feeds me and rubs my belly and I’m happy. I miss mama!

Mommy went on vacation yesterday and left me with uncle. I’m not so good with blog-writing when she’s not here. My memory goes blank without her, so instead of telling you what I did today, I will just tell you that I miss mommy and am going to sleep on her bed until she comes home!

Mom goes on vacation a lot. I wish she’d take me with her. See, I fit perfectly in her carry on! Too bad I don’t fit under the seat space. I’m just a tiny bit too big for that space. But if I rolled up into a ball, I’d fit! I’m just not sure I want to be in that position for more than a few hours. It’s really hard for me to sit still for a few minutes! Oh, and pardon me and the position I’m lying in all exposing myself. If grandma saw me like this she’d say “Oakie! So ugly!!” Hehee
