Phew, I’m still tired from yesterday! All that playing and all those belly rubs, it really stresses a dog out! I also showed them my new trick, and holding & waiting for a treat that’s balanced on your nose is no small task! That took a lot of energy out of me! I wanted to rip into that treat ASAP! And then mom had to stay up late to clean the place before going to bed. I got tired of waiting for her to take me out to poo & pee, so I trotted to her room, jumped on her bed, and went to sleep! HA! I’m so brave jumping on her bed while she’s home! But she was taking so long with the dishes. I figured she wouldn’t come back to her room for a while. And then I fell asleep and she caught me perched on her bed covers. Uh oh. She called me a bad dog and then gave me a hug. She’s a weird one.

Hooray! I get to spend a full day with mom today and all my aunties and uncles! They all came over with food! Not that it mattered because I’m not allowed to eat their food anyway. Mom says it makes me fat and might shorten my life span. I say it’s balls. I want to eat what she’s eating!!! So not fair. But I quickly forgot about that when my aunties and uncles played games with me. We played fetch and they rubbed my belly. They even picked me up like a baby (which I kind of hate), but I let them do it anyway (until I started squirming). I love having extra playmates in addition to mama!

I wish it was the weekend already. I like sleeping in on Saturdays. Though sometimes if mom is up really late Friday night, I don’t get to go out and do my business until it’s almost noon! What a lazy person mommy is for sleeping in! Some Fridays, mom stays home with me. I like those Fridays. Except when she decides she wants to go out shopping. Then I don’t like those days. Unless she gives me a treat before she leaves. Then I don’t even realize she’s gone until after I’ve finished my treat. It’s like.. smell ya later, mom!

Howdy! I am so awesome at my new trick! I can totally keep a treat on my nose and be still without making the treat fall before mom says it’s okay to eat! Even if that means keeping my head at a crazy angle so that the treat doesn’t fall off my nose.. I can do it! I. AM. AWESOME!!!!!!

Boo! Mama just came home and now she is at work and I’m at home waiting for her again! What’s up with that? It feels like all I do is wait for her! But she is worth the wait… ’cause she gives me hugs and treats and kisses. I love treats! Hugs and kisses are alright, too! But I do need a hug from mama immediately after she comes home from work. I cannot function until I get that hug!!!

HOORAY! MOM’S HOME! She smelled strange. Like saltwater, except I’ve never smelled saltwater before so what the heck am I talking about? She went to the beach and said she wished she took me, too, but she didn’t take me, so she didn’t wish very hard! Right? Anyway, I don’t care, I’m just happy she’s home and giving me hugs and kisses! HOORAY!!

It’s just another Manic Monday. Except I don’t know why it’s manic for me because I do the same thing everyday. Sleep, eat, poop, pee, play, bark, repeat! Nothing too stressful, although I do get stressed when mom leaves the house to go to work sometimes. But she’s not even home right now, that abandoner! But I have a feeling she’ll be home soon. She can’t live without me! Who could?!

Total blue balled! Mama wasn’t home to greet me after uncle picked me up from the kennel. I haven’t seen her in a week! Where the heck is she? At least I’m not at the kennel anymore, and I’m glad I have a backyard to run around in and a house to play with my toys in. I had diarrhea today. What the heck where those ladies feeding me? I made a big stinky loud squirty fart on my uncle as I pooped. It was fun!

It’s Saturday! I got a wash and haircut this morning! YAY! I’m going home! My uncle picked me up from the kennel today. I thought I’d see mommy, but seeing uncle is okay, too. Maybe I’ll see mama when I get home! I’m so excited!

I’m still stuck at the kennel. Mommy is having a grand time at the beach. I’m in a cage. What’s wrong with this picture? Everything! At least it’s Friday. That means vacation will be over soon for mama!
