Mama bought me a new tent! The opening is a little too short for me. When I try walking in, my back hits the top and the whole tent tilts up and I have a hard time getting my hind legs into the tent! Apparently it’s funny because mom laughs when it happens. Hey ma, lay off will ya? It’s not my fault you bought a crappy tent that’s too small for me! I’m just kidding. It’s not crappy. I love it. Especially when I lean a little too much to one side and the whole thing rolls over with me in it. It’s like a cheap roller coaster ride! But whatevs, I still love it and the $9 bargain it was from IKEA!

It is HOT in herre! I can feel summer coming in full force! The house is a little too warm inside. I have to leave the bedroom and rest in the hallway on the wood floors to cool myself off. The ceiling fan just ain’t cuttin’ it! Mom and I went for a walk today though the neighborhood, and I was panting the whole time! If dogs could sweat I would’ve been drenched in it! I drank almost all the water out of my water bowl when we got back. Water has never tasted so yummy and refreshing! I’m glad I got a nice haircut and chopped off all those long curls last week– its like wearing a wool sweater in the heat. No gracias!

Hi friends, I have decided to retire my blog today. It hurts my paws to type on the keyboard, and I could be spending my time doing more productive things like sleep. Plus, nobody reads my blog anyway, so I should just close it and toss it in the trash. Not! Happy April Fool’s!! Don’t panic, friends! I’m not going to stop blogging! I love to yap your ear off! But I wasn’t really lying about people not reading this blog. It’s okay though, I like talking to myself the best anyway.
Smell ya later!

Bonjour! I am so hippity hop happy to be home and not in the kennel! Today I ran around the house freely, I ate three meals instead of two, I had some treats, I took a few dumps, I ran around the house some more, I played with my toys, I threw all my toys all over the house and made a mess, napped for 6 hours, I ran around some more, and I barked at birds and squirrels! What a wonderfully fun and productive day! I wish everyday were like this. Oh wait, everyday IS like this when I’m at home! La vie est belle.

I had a fun and exciting day today! First, mom and I went on a long walk this morning where I made three nice poopies. Then we hopped into the car and drove through the car wash! My first time! It was scary!!! We drove through a dark tunnel– it was so loud. Then a whole bunch of water sprayed on the windows.. ugh!! I hate the sight of water when it’s not contained in my water bowl! And to top it off, big scary looking arms came down and hit at the windows. I didn’t like it at all, but I couldn’t look away either. I cowered in my seat, scooting closer to mommy. I was so glad when it was over.. car ride back home! I love looking out the window as we drive down the roads. My spit covers the entire inside of the passenger seat. It makes it blurry and hard to see out the window, but mom lets me lick and spit all over the window anyway ’cause she’s cool like that (she’s the coolest mommy ever).
To top the night off, a bunch of aunties and uncles came over to play fetch with me. I was so excited I almost vomited. And now I am super pooped. I’m going to call it a night and bid you all a good evening.
Sweet dreams,
Oakie

I don’t know why, but for the past year or two, my tongue has been making more appearances.. poking out of my mouth when I’m sleeping or just relaxing on the couch. Is my tongue growing longer, or maybe my jaw muscles are getting weaker and can’t hold in my cute tongue? Whatever the explanation, if it makes makes mom smile, I’m all for it!

I’m not allowed on the bed. I know it, and mom knows I know it. When she’s home, I stay off the bed. I’m a good little boy. But when she’s not at home, I like to hop on her bed make myself comfortable… maybe take a nice eight hour nap. Sometimes my nails get caught on the knitted blankets and I tear them. Oops. Oh well, mom will never know it was me. I greet her at the door when she gets home from work so I’m no where near the bed!!
Sneaky sneaky!
